Thanks for the info! I used a block of wood to wedge the timing gear, but I did manage to get the bolts loose. I've been sporatically posting pictures of my forwardlook adventures at www.dakotacom.net/~gsv/Plymouth if anybody wants to bother checking it out. Special thanks to the person (whose name I can't remember right now) who sent me the exploded view picture of the engine. I think that will be useful in the future as I continue to build this thing. Now all I have to do is scrounge up the money to buy the rebuild kit!
