I've decided to forge ahead and rebuild the engine in my 58 Belvedere. It is a 318 with a Carter 2bbl. I am going to have the heads redone with hardened valves and guides to run unleaded. I have read that moly rings will greatly increase the life expectancy of the engine. I have also been told by a friend at work that I'm better off staying with standard rings since they will wear in better. Any opinions or experiences? BTW I am going to have the block bored to give me nice new cyclinder walls.
