I know that this is a loooooong shot. But in the Oct '58 issue of Hot Rod magazine, in the letter section in the front, tells step by step 'how to' adjust the 'carbys'on a '57 Fury. In the middle section of the magazine, there is a 'in depth' article on the editor and staff doing a 3k mile road test on a brand new '58 Fury 350 'Stick' car. I think that they mentioned before taking the Fury to the strip, they had to adjust both carbs and linkage. Told how they done it. Good reading. (There is a copper colered Hemi on the cover of the mag)
