Ted, if your wondering if all that is worth it... When I got my '60 Belvedere back in 1987 I found the slant six had a cracked block during a rebuild. Had it "stapled" and its been absolutely fine ever since. (apart from the big end goinf last summer !) Good luck and best regards, Gavin
