Amen!!!! That is why I am looking at minimum of front disc/dual master cylinder on my 56 Adventurer, even though it makes it a decidedly non-AACA 100 pointer. After all the work I plan on putting into the restoration, the brakes become a real issue, especially with something you only drive in the summer here in Michigan (the land of "fender" solvent) I would think, however, that the tapered rear axles of Forward-Looks would be a good conversion for rear discs, since you do not have to support a parking brake, as its on the tailshaft of the trans. Anyone have comments or suggestions on this subject????
