Indeed if you used a separate trans. cooler (a good idea there!) you could have an air-cooled torque converter in your original Plymouth bellhousing,BUT if it was MY car I'd use the liquid-cooled converter in the Chrysler bellhousing. (for those times when you're at a crawl in a traffic jam in 90ºF+ weather,the big reason why 727's aren't air-cooled!)
