Same thing with "American Graffiti" during the junkyard scene. There were cars in there that appeared to be less than three years old (the movie also took place 1962.) And those girls in a "beater" Cadillac that would have been about two years old. I believe "Animal House" was supposed to be taking place during the autumn of 1962. That was a '63 Olds in the showroom during the parade scene. But then, if the "Animal House" Deltas could trash a new Lincoln in one short road trip, then imagine what they could do to a late model Plymouth parked in their yard over a couple of semesters. ;-)
