If it's the 8.25" rear, Richmond Gear makes Ring and pinion sets in 3.55, 3.91, 4.10 and 4.56. (they sell for about $250 thru PAW. If it is the 8.25 rear, your right they are light duty and do not stand up well to abuse, however driven reasonably they are still a good unit. Diffrent Gear ratios may also still be available trhough Chrysler.
