Shouldn't be too hard, considering that a stock 318 from a '58 Fury produces 290hp. I'd start with a good race balance, port and polish; then get yourself some nice headers, custom cam, and maybe bump the compression ratio a tad bit. Re-jet the carbs, maybe play around with spacers. Go with a good CD electronic ignition setup, like MSD. That should do you pretty good. Brian
