You are correct, Steven. Mine is a 2.73, I also have a '72 Sebring, a one family car purchased new by my parents on October 11, 1971. Same drivetrain. But the '59 I plan to put the spare axle in has a three speed manual transmission. Without a torque converter, 2.93 may not be enough to have reasonable acceleration in stop and go traffic.
