One of the surviving cars was given away in a contest in 1984,which I entered (and sadly did not win). This car had the custom red and white upholstery as seen in the film, not correct '58 Belvedere upholstery. The rear "Belvedere" emblems were removed,as on all cars onscreen. The giveaway car was used for detail and interior shots only. A few years later this car was for sale in Hemmings Motor News.
