I just removed the door and window handles from my 57 DeSoto this weekend. Lemme tell you, its a pain in the ass on the first handle..but once you figure out how in the hell its on there, and how to get it off, its a piece of cake. What i used was 3 screwdrivers. 2 on each side holding back the large spring, and the 3rd one to push back that little square clip. wiggle the handle a lil bit, and it should come loose. They used to make a special tool for this, but why bother w/ that when you can "ghetto rig" :). Jessica
