I just got my 350 bored .040 over and it looks like theres a lot of wall left. If I hadn't found oversize 350 pistons I would have used standard 361 bore. A friend has a motor that's stamped 350 which turned out to be a 361 when measured. I've heard but not verified that you can bore all the way to 400 (largest LB series motor). All these motors used the same stroke. The only difference was the way the tranny is connected to the crank. I've also been told that you could use a later model 383 or 400 motor, swap in your 350 crank and be in business. Hope this helps. Joe Mac
