1957-61 301-318 with orig. 3 spd. bellhousing

If you use the 1957-61 301-318 V8 with the original 3-speed manual bellhousing,then yes this would be a simple swap. (You would need the V8 motor mounts) If you use a 1962-up 318,you will have to use a 1962-up 3-speed manual with it,but most of those have better gear ratios and synchro first gears so that's not a problem.
