I've had similar problems with my 59 Plymouth. On one occasion I replaced the bakelite component (has 6 wires connected to it) in steering column. That solved the constant blinking of right signal lite when key was on. Another time when right brake lite wouldn't work at times and brake lites would sometimes stay on, I replaced the stop lite switch on master cylinder. I've also replaced lite sockets in the tail light assemblies with good results. If you have to replace signal switch parts in the column you might have problems finding a place to purchase them. I was lucky and got mine out of my parts car.
