Torqueflight vs Powerflight

Yes, the cast iron Torqueflight and the Powerflight will interchange. Years ago I had a '60 Phoenix convertible with 383 Ram Induction and the Torqueflight died. I could get a Powerflight cheap, and it bolted right in. The shift cables were different, as were the "button-boxes". If have, however, encountered two different size ball and trunnion flanges on the e-brake drum, and have seen the rear seal in different locations in the tailshaft housing, necessitating machining a seal surface into the hub of an unmachined drum. Hope this helps. Paul H
