Dear Tom, your problem seems to be the same I have had on my ´57 DeSoto when I got started with the forward look hobby 14 years ago. I had everything new and bled and bled but the brakes stayed soft. I simply adjusted the brakes following the instructions in the shop manual. Never ever had problems like this again. Very best regards Ulf
