One thing I should state that is necessary to get a later ('66-up) 727 to shift with pushbuttons is that you'd have to remove the valve body and replace the stock detent spring with a much weaker spring. The PRND321 levers (column or floor) provide much more shifting force than the pushbutton cable does. So once the weak spring is installed,then 'all' you'd have to do is make sure it consistently shifts RND321 and won't slip out of place (ESPECIALLY not into "Park"!!!)
