Beware that not all V-8 cars have even an 8 1/4 rear axle. The 75 Dart I got my 318 and A909 had a 7 1/4 with 5 on 4 1/2 bolt pattern. I ended up getting a 8 1/4 out of a 74 Sattelite for my 56 Coronet. I had already bought brakes for the 7 1/4, and they fit the 8 1/4!
