Here in Las Vegas, there is a light yellow '57 two door hardtop that has been kicking from one owner to another for the last seven or eight years. The car is complete and is absolutely as solid a '57 as I have ever seen. The car is partially disassembled and everthing is in the trunk. There is no title for this car. It seems to change hands every couple years for $700 to $1500. Once it is purchased, the would be restorer gets discouraged about the process of obtaining a new title. The car is then resold. I saw it last about three years ago. I will try to track it down, but I can't make any promises that I will locate it. There was a red '58 coupe about a mile from my house. It was made into a Christine clone, but was recently sitting derelict in the guy's driveway. The tires are flat, the rust is coming through in front of the rear wheel wells and the interior is rough. The car had been there since 1998. I am not sure if it still is, but I will drive by and check.
