Many of the drum assys. now will ONLY come off with heat,and a few wouldn't come off even AFTER heating to red hot (this is the point where you swap in a C-body rear end!). None of this was needed when the cars were new,but as we say, "Welcome to the old car hobby!" (Sometimes you have to do a 'not-recommended' idea to save a car or its parts.....
