Most 59 plymouths used the single post mirror. Optional was the new remote control which is a twin strut design. The manual twin strut mirror probably was optional too but I have not seen a 59 with these mirrors. It seems like this style was probably the base mirror option on Desotos and Chryslers because thats where I usually see them. I think these mirrors are a work of art by themselves! If you have 'em go ahead and put 'em on! My 57 plymouth has 'em!
