i remember seeing a 58 dodge with a fuel injection emblem on the front fenders. it was kind of a sideways oval with crossed lightning bolts. however it was equipped with a carburetor. i went to work for chrysler engineering in 1963 in fuel systems department. i recall someone telling me that the system required constant adjustment as temperature, humidity, barometric pressure or altitude changed. (no computers back then) all units were replaced with a carburetor. i saw a unit in storage but never on a vehicle. chrysler dumped it and worked on that beautiful ram induction system.
