As Justin outlined in his impressive "Savoy Daily Driver" manifesto down there,the 380 hp crate motor would not be the best choice for these cars as a street driver. It idles rough and lacks the low-end torque that you would want to pull a heavy car like a Forward-Looker around. This motor is best reserved for an A-body "Saturday Night Special" cruiser,whereas the 300 hp version will be a good driver engine in almost any car or truck .DAVEN
