Ok I understand the block to bellhousing pattern for the early 318 is the same as the newer 318, and that a new 318 will bolt onto a trans that had the original 319 Poly. My question is this, if I got a hold of a 380hp crate motor, will it bolt onto my trans (1961 Fury) and will the trans be able to handle that much power?
