Business Coupe had no rear seat

The only differences between the 2-dr. Club Sedan and the business coupe are that the business coupe was delivered to the dealer with no rear seat,and the rear windows are one piece and fixed. (On the club coupe,they are two-piece,and the front part rolls down). A rear seat kit was available as a dealer-installed option. The idea was that the rear seat could be fitted at trade- in time to increase the resale value of the car. The base factory price on the business coupe was $1874 with 6-cyl. (The club sedan,$1984 w. 6-cyl.) The business coupe is quite rare,as only 2,874 were made (figure includes 6 and V8 cars). The Club Sedan had 49,137 (6 and V8) made in 1957. The last business coupe was made in 1959,and that year it was 6-cyl.only. DAVEN
