It sounds like you might have a Plaza. It was the bottom of the line, no frills Plymouth of the day. It didn't have any chrome or trim to speak of. If the trim was removed, then the Fury's and Belvederes had the "Silver streak" trim which looked like a long check mark running down the side. You could look for the clip holes running down the side. Also, the Fury was only available as a convertible or 2 dr hardtop. If you have a sedan or a 4 door hardtop you can eliminate that possibility.
