While I'm here I should state that some machining on the tie rod ends MAY be needed,but my swap uses the rotors,spindles and calipers all from the '76. Those should be used complete from the parts car to avoid the "Frankenstein" effect you mentioned! ANY '65-up C-body drum or disc with the 10.5" spindles could be transplanted,in an emergency or if you have only a certain parts car you can use (especially outside the US).
