Joe, I own a 56 belvedere which runs a 360 4bbl from a 72 CH Chrysler (australian car) and the matching 727. I didn't do the swap, It was done before it bought the car, but it looks like it has bolted straight it ( maybe originally had V8 rather than straight 6). But basically there does not seem to be any modifications needed, except for a very small mod for the gearbox mount. Hope this is of some use, I'm sure some-one else on this board has done the swap and can give you more details. Jason
