Also, It should be noted that a third version of the D500 was released in early March of 56, it was known as the D500 Special,a somewhat scaled down version it only included the standard D500 Hemi engine and the larger 12 Inch brakes. The brake option could also be deleted leaving the 260 HP Hemi the only upgrade from the standard Dodge models.
