the fury jr was produced in 1958-60 they were all battery powered with a basic ford starter motor used (less the bendix gear) for the drive unit with v belt and pullies transmittiong the power to the wheels. they were produced by the power car company of mystic conneticut. the company started producing mini thunderbirds in 1954 to match the intro of the 55 thunderbirds and continued producing them through 1967 they also made mercury and mustang jr cars. gas power versions were not available until 1965 long after the plymouth fury jr stopped production. i am working on a website with lots of info and pictures of these cars and i hope to complete it in early y2k.
