Hi cec,the dipstick is eightteen inches from the rubber tubeseal to the end. Todays ATF is better than it whas in the sixties. We seem to have the same problem with our transmision but ours dont whant to rev out during fullthrotle accelerations it shofts up too erly Let work on this together.
