First I'm glad to see a fellow SD Mopar fan. I've been doing a lot of research via surfing the web about how to get the most hp out of my 318 ploy in my 58 plymouth. I've read on several different websites that it is possible to get close to 500 hp with carbs if you use the right parts. It depends on how much money you want to invest. I've stuck about $3500 into myengine so far and it's not done yet. If a blower is what you want go for it. $1100 is not a bad price.
