Not like I get a bee in my bonnet or anything. But I weighed a fully assembled poly 301 head, with gooey pushrods still in it, and it only made 71 lbs (one head). Doesn't sound that bad! That must leave 400+lbs in the block, I'd guess. Felt like it when it rolled over on my foot yesterday. So how much does an LA head weigh? (Now you southern Californians, no going out and decapitating anyone, I'm talking ENGINES here.)
