Sir; A junk yard 360 with the matching SB-727 will give you a better over all driviablity with power/corninig/maintance and daily gas miliage than the RB. The LA 360 is lighter than your original engine and for sure the RB. The LA engine with OEM exhaust manifolds will require very little to replace the original engine. Vans from the late late 70's still had the three speed transmission (much cheaper than manual four speads). This means you could have more power (very easy to have a quite/docile appearing 360 with 250-300 hp) and still keep the inside of the car looking as a period Dodge. Rodger
