I was wondering if anyone has experimented with building up a Powerflite transmission for street/strip use.For years,Chevy guys have modified Powerglides with success.Powerflites kind of parallel'Glides,too.There are"flites for 6's,small V8's and big block Powerflites.They are smooth(when adjusted properly),reliable and pretty easy to work on and since Chrysler's first muscle cars were Powerflite equipped,do this offer any insight to modifying one? What do you all think?
