I'd have to go w/ the 57 Chrysler 300 C. The closest competitor was another mopar. No other make could keep up with chrysler that year (or others for that matter). Without a doubt, chrysler was at the top of the game when it came to producing incredible amounts of horsepower and massive torque. (this isn't including the duesenburg, but this vehicle was unobtainium) No matter what car, be it "muscle" or not, mopar always produced the classic styling and quality that no other competitor could ever match.
