When I do the bleeding operation, I follow the same sequence you outlined, but I have my assistant (my wife, much to her chagrin) repeat the "pump, pump, pump, bleed" process at each cylinder until the fluid runs clear. This takes about two to three ounces. I use a 4 Oz olive jar as my collection vessel. Of course, you'll have to recharge the master cylinder after each cylinder using this method, but you should have expelled all the air by the end of this operation. Did you replace your rubber brake hoses? Those can get soft after 40+ years. Good luck, Mopar Randy
