I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there is no way in hell they could make a sequel to the movie Christine without destroying at least a few cars. Those of you that responded to my last comment failed to do your home work! I was on the Official web site for gone in 60 seconds, I went on it Not to look at the stomach turning, every where you go you see one Mustang,I went on it to check out exactly how many 68's were used in that over budgeted heavely laden special effects film. Well to tell you, they used exactly 12, 4 of which were completely destroyed for the purpose of the jump scene. All I can say is, to all of you out there who think for one second (or 60, depending on which movie you watch)that special effects is the answer to all of ones worries, YOU ARE WRONG! I know that they(John Carpenter, Stephan King) will probably never even think of making a sequel to Christine, it just wasn't succesful enough at the box office for that to happen. I just can't stand when people even ponder the idea of destroying a vintage vehicle for the sad purpose of celluloid. The point is special effects is not the answer, cars would still be destroyed no matter how you slice it. Anybody who thinks that it's OK to destroy even one forward look car for the purpose of a dumb sequel , are not true car enthusiasts, and shouldn't be posting comments on this web site. By the way, Daven, your idea of the long rams turning into tendrels would be very shocking, especially for all those faint hearted chevy fans. BOO, gotcha!
