Great things have been accomplished lately with Computer Graphics. You should suggest to these guys that the best solution is Industrial Light and Magic (and the like). That way, only pixels are getting rearranged, NOT sheetmetal. Besides, this is probably the easier route these days, given what the cost of even spare parts is!
