The 58 Mayfairs were Canadian Built using Plymouth bodies and Dodge front sheet metal. The base v-8 was a 313,same as a 318 but with a smaller bore 3.875 instead of 3.910 inches. The mayfair was one below the Custom Royal in price class in Canada. The serial number starts with LE2W all were Windsor built (Ontario) except for convertibles which were shipped over from Lynch Road in "white" for final assembly in Windsor. Convertibles carry a plymouth serial number(starts with LP2 for V-8 chassis) even if assembled with Dodge front sheet metal. If you need more info post again and I'll answer here .
