I posted a reply to this on the discussion board but it went kaput. The paint on my car is 1958 Plymouth Toreador Red. The paint does look a little orangy in daylight but also looks like a Blood Red at night. I too looked at the DVD of Christine. The movie car looks fairly Orange in the well lit shots and more Red in the nightime ones. I am very happy with this shade of Red. By the way I got my paint from Sherwin Williams. They have books on paint that go back to the 1920's. Good luck with whatever you choose.
