Must be contagious....I've just gone through this with my '59 wagon...but you knew that since you tried to help me find the correct seal for the tank's sending unit opening. No one could match it up locally, but I found one in Ohio for $2.00 at a Valley Vintage Auto Parts. I need a filter "sock" for mine, too. I will check his inventory against my '59 parts book.
