Mike, You first might want to buy the shop manual for you're car. Car flea markets may have vendors that deal in books of this sort can help you. Shop Manuals have the carburetors that were available on you're car with the model #. They usually give a brief description of the carb and how that particular unit works. It also gives you a blow by blow teardown and rebuild, and a diagnostic questionaire. Good Stuff! If you want to learn about carb. theory, then go to you're library or local book store and check them out . They usually have a few good books on this and other car related subject matter. Hope this helps a little!
