Try using a hand choke instead of an electric one. This will of course richen the mixture, thus bigger flames. This is only what I have heard, since I don't have a flamethrower (yet). I would also think about mutli carbs. Either three deuces or dos quadros. REMEMBER: if you go to a hand choke, you must change your oil before diriving very far since the unused gas will wash into the crank case. This is not optional, you will have a bomb otherwise.
