Looking for a definitive answer on this one. Have an argument going with friend regarding whether any Dodge 270 or Plymouth 260s had blocks with motor mount "ears" on the sides of the blocks, like the later high deck 315/325s or the 277-up Canadian Polys. All Dodges seem to have had the front engine mount pad that bolted to the water pump assembly. Ditto for the Dodge trucks. I told him I remembered a 270 Plymouth Poly that I thought had side mounts, but have no proof. Am I crazy here, or did at least the Plymouths have the side mounts cast into the blocks? Did the '55 or '56 low deck Dodges also have these, or was it unique to Plymouth (if in fact I am correct with my failing memory)?
