I have the AAj brake kit on my 57 firesweep and have had no problems at all. It's my daily driver to work, high school, and the car i use to tear around town on weekends. I drive it pretty hard but have had no troubles at all with the kit. works great. Maybe yours was installed wrong or you would really have to be beating on the car REALLY hard. Something else would likely break if you were doing that though.
