Tim Be sure to let us know what the problem is about the the poor idel whe you find it. About your over heating... From experience I've learned that these radiators should be rodded out to enssure proper cooling. My Dad and I over heated a fresh rebuild because of a pluged radiator. The engine started buring oil after that. I had to pull it down and rering one cylinder. The rings had seized to the piston. We rodded it out and it hasn't over heated since. Regards Dan
