I am wondering if the early Hemis (331 cid, etc) use the same basic block archiecture as the first low-cost poly small block that was introduced in 1955 Plymouths (and maybe the Dodges too)? The poly small block started the same basic archiecture that would lead to the later 318, 360, etc with updates over the years. Thanks for any help!
