65 is the last year in cars for the cable shift case in both 727 and 904...... it is also the only year with columm shift and cable trany, one year only columm, so if your looking for a floor shifter, 65 and earlier should work, however there may be a valve body differance so you may have to grab the valve body too......and I don't know if the valve body is compatable to the early case iron case. I have 3 65 cars, Bel 1 4d, Bel 2 ht and Dart GT all auto tranys
